




QUALITY ASSURANCE
To ensure the quality controlled nature of training, the Instructors and Supervisors are all trained in accordance with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and have completed ADVANCE FACILITATION SKILLS and SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
All First Aid training is presented by C-DOC staff who are registered health care professionals and are experienced in the Diving medical Field. The voluntary work that all staff provide at the local hospital ensures crisp knowledge and latest protocols to allow for interactive teaching techniques making the courses more alive and realistic.
SEADOG supports DIVERS ALERT NETWORK (DAN) and incorporates the DAN training programmes in

| Practical Diving First Aid (PDFA) |
| Targeted at all Learner divers and divers. |
| Valid for three years by Dept of Labour and Dept of Transport. |
| For all divers; and is a good way to maintain in date for first aid. |
| Three day full time course. |
| Occupational Diving Medical Training (ODMT) |
| Targeted for the Diving Supervisor to assist in meeting relevant diving regulations. |
| Candidates must have a valid first aid certficate or do course one (PDFA) to attend. |
| Valid for 3 years |
| One week full time course |
| IMCA Diver Medic |
| Targeted for the offshore diver in compliance with international standards and IMCA. |
| Candidates must have a valid first aid at sea certficate to attend. |
| Valid for 3 years |
| Two week full time course |
