Dive Technician Training Synopsis
5th - 16th MARCH 2012
Dive Technicians maintain, certify and operate life support equipment and subsea tooling systems used in diving operations. The Dive Technician needs a broad range of skills as he could be dealing with hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems all of which interface into the diving and life support systems
Objective
The objective of this training is to familiarize the tradesman with the equipment, procedures, responsibilities, regulations and environment relevant to the Dive Technician in the off-shore commercial diving industry.
Successful completion of this training will thoroughly prepare the student for his off-shore career, arming him with the knowledge necessary to maintain a typical air dive spread with preventative and corrective maintenance procedures in line with internationally accepted standards
