This course is designed for individuals seeking to work as Dive Technicians in the commercial diving industry. The curriculum combines comprehensive theory modules with intensive hands-on training to prepare candidates for real-world diving support environments.

Course Admission

To qualify for the 5-day on-site practical training and assessment, the following is required:

  • Copy ID

  • Electronic colour ID photograph

  • CV and certification of candidate

  • Enrolment form

Course Structure

  • Theory Component: Completed online independently prior to attending the practical training.
  • Practical Training: Skills training and assessment, at The Academy of Diving and Offshore Medicine or another approved training centre. Participants will take part in focused, hands-on sessions covering:
    • Inspection, maintenance, and repair of diving equipment

    • Set-up and operation of dive systems

    • Fault-finding and troubleshooting procedures

    • Safety checks and compliance with industry standards
