How the Programme Works
Step 1: Complete Theory Online
The theory component is completed online independently before attending practical training.
This prepares learners with the knowledge required for first aid, oxygen administration, and emergency response in diving supervision environments.
Complete your theory first. Attend practical training next. Qualify through successful assessment.
Step 2: Practical Skills Training
Practical training is conducted at The Academy of Diving and Offshore Medicine or another approved training centre.
This phase focuses on hands-on first aid, oxygen administration, casualty management, and emergency response skills relevant to commercial diving supervisors.
Entry Requirements
To attend the 1-day onsite skills training and assessment, the following is required:
- Copy of ID
- Electronic colour ID photograph
- Copy of current First Aid certificate
- Copy of dive qualification (DOL, ADAS, HSE dive permit)
