Step 2: Portfolio of Evidence (POE) & Workplace Competencies

Candidates are required to complete a Portfolio of Evidence (POE) and required workplace competencies during their supervisory development period.

Entry Requirements

Prerequisites for Registration as Learner Air Dive Supervisor – Class II

  • Course enrolment form
  • Copy of ID / Passport
  • Copy of Diver Card
  • Colour passport photograph
  • Letter of Recommendation from current DoEL Supervisor
  • Copy of current DoEL dive supervisor permit
  • Copy of current in-date DoEL dive permit
  • Current CV

Department of Employment & Labour (DoEL) Minimum Requirements – Class II

  • Minimum age: 24
  • Minimum dives: 100 logged commercial dives
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years after completion of Class II diver qualification
  • Portfolio of Evidence: Including required panel hours and competencies
  • In-date Diver or Topside Medical
  • In-date Supervisor First Aid and O2 Certification
  • Chamber Operator Certificate
  • Online theory modules completed before onsite assessment

All requirements are in accordance with the Department of Employment & Labour Supervisor Application Checklist.

Onsite Assessment & Final Evaluation

Final practical assessment dates are arranged directly with the chosen training centre after completion of theory and POE requirements.

Certification and Outcome
