How the Programme Works

Step 1: Complete Theory Online

The theory component is completed online independently before attending practical training.
This prepares you with the knowledge required for first aid, oxygen use, and emergency response in diving supervision contexts.

Step 2: Practical Skills Training

Practical training is conducted at The Academy of Diving and Offshore Medicine or another approved training centre.

This phase focuses on hands-on first aid, oxygen administration, casualty management, and emergency response skills relevant to commercial diving supervisors.

Entry Requirements

To attend the 1-day onsite skills training and assessment, the following is required:

  • Copy of ID
  • Electronic colour ID photograph
  • Copy of current First Aid certificate
  • Copy of dive qualification (DOL, ADAS, HSE dive permit)
  • Completed enrolment form

Practical Training

Duration: 1 day practical training

Important:
The prerequisite online theory must be completed prior to practical onsite training.
You can still start your theory training online NOW and schedule your practical session once ready.

Certification and Skills
