Terms & Conditions Disclaimer

By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any online course, training package, or educational material provided by the Academy of Diving and Offshore Medicine (ADOM), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Educational Purpose Only

All courses and training materials are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Successful completion of any ADOM course does not, by itself, guarantee professional certification, licensing, medical clearance, employment, or competency to perform diving or offshore activities. Participants are responsible for ensuring that any training undertaken meets the requirements of relevant regulatory authorities, employers, or certification bodies.

No Medical Advice

ADOM courses do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any medical content is provided for general educational purposes only. Participants should always seek advice from a qualified medical practitioner for individual medical concerns, fitness-to-dive assessments, or health-related decisions.

Assumption of Risk

Diving and offshore activities involve inherent risks. ADOM accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from the application, interpretation, or misuse of course content. Participation in any practical or real-world activity based on course material is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk.

Access and Use

Course access is provided for the individual purchaser only and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or redistributed. ADOM reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse, unauthorised sharing, or breach of these Terms is identified.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, manuals, presentations, assessments, and downloadable resources, remain the intellectual property of ADOM. No content may be copied, reproduced, recorded, or distributed without prior written consent.

Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations

All prices are listed in the applicable currency and are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable once access to digital content has been granted. Refunds or transfers may be considered only at ADOM’s discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

Technical Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate internet access, compatible devices, and required software. ADOM is not liable for interruptions, delays, or access issues caused by technical limitations outside its control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADOM shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, its online courses or training packages.

Amendments

ADOM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued access to or use of courses following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
